Some Highlights, but Needs Improvement
We spent a night in the King Room with Fireplace and Spa Bath. The fireplace was cozy, but the experience soured due to inconsistent amenities. Be sure to check the parking area for lights. It's quite dark. Consider dining out for a better meal experience.

At breakfast there were disposable plastic dishes. With such a large hotel, with so many guests, this is an eerie mountain of waste that is created in a very short time, which could be prevented by using reusable dishes.

Really enjoyed our trip here and would definitely come back. The hotel was bright, exceptionally clean offered satisfactory breakfasts and had a perfect location near the lake with a dog trail. Our room was brand-new and the bed was comfortable, had a really good experience.

Breakfast was a highlight with generous options, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Although the common areas and bathrooms showed signs of neglect, particularly in cleanliness, the isolated location felt off-putting.

Breakfast included and ok. In the bistro we had 2x delicious italian food in the evening. Walking and hiking trails directly at the hotel. Room out back quiet, although directly on the main road to Orillia.

Here's what you need to know
The room was spacious, with a kitchenette and a cozy sitting area, perfect for relaxation. The breakfast selection was excellent, and the hotel's location near Couchiching Point park made exploring easy. Staff, especially Ben and Donna, were really nice!

Price of a room per night was too high. This hotel has no pool,. Rooms are small. Bathroom sink drain was backing up. Needs maintenance.

The staff at best western were cute. I loved the spacious queen room with two queen beds, super clean and comfy. Their breakfast was a huge plus. The food they served was great, and they were really good too accommodate us when we arrived late.
